Apartment and condo movers
Most Los Angeles moves involve at least one apartment or condo. The furniture is the easy part. The building is what decides how long the move takes.

Ask your building these questions first
- Which days and hours are moves allowed?
- Does the elevator need to be reserved, and does it need protective pads?
- Where can a box truck park or load? Is there a loading dock, a garage with a height limit, or only street parking?
- Does the building require a certificate of insurance from the mover, or a deposit?
- Is there a long walk from the loading area to your unit?
Put the answers on the quote form. Telling us about stairs, the elevator and the walking distance up front means the crew size and the time estimate fit your building.
Walk-ups and carport buildings
Many older Los Angeles apartment buildings have outside stairs and parking underneath the units, which leaves little room for a truck. If your building is like that, tell us the floor and send a photo of the front of the building if you can.
Newer mid-rise and high-rise buildings
Newer buildings usually have a loading dock and a freight elevator, with strict time slots. Book your slot early, especially at the end of the month, and share the slot time with us.
Questions about apartment moving
My building needs a certificate of insurance. What do I do?
Send us the building's requirements, or the property manager's contact, when you request your quote so it can be handled before move day.
Do you move studios and one-bedroom apartments?
Yes. Choose your apartment size on the quote form.
What if there is no parking near my building?
Tell us on the quote form. Where a truck can park is one of the biggest factors in the time a move takes, and it helps to plan it in advance.
